Participation Terms & Authorization
General Terms
To ensure the smooth operation of the supOS Hackathon and protect the rights and interests of all participants, please read the following terms carefully. By registering for this event, you are deemed to have understood and agreed to all clauses herein.
Team Participation
Each team may include up to 6 members. Submitting a project indicates that all team members accept these terms.
Rights & Authorization
By registering and submitting your work, you grant the organizer and its partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your submitted content (including but not limited to: project description, screenshots, demo videos, presentations, and documentation) for promotional, educational, and technical communication purposes.
Your source code remains your intellectual property. It will not be disclosed or used by the organizer for any commercial purpose without your explicit written consent.
If commercial licensing or monetization opportunities arise, the organizer will contact the team separately for agreement.
Intellectual Property Compliance
If third-party open-source components are used, participants must comply with applicable license terms and assume any resulting legal responsibilities.
Participants confirm that their submission does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property (including but not limited to: copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets).
Rights to Showcase Winning Projects
Winning entries may be publicly cited and showcased by the organizer through official channels, such as:
Website & Social Media;
GitHub Repositories;
Promotional campaigns and developer events.
If future commercial collaboration is planned, it will be discussed with the team in advance.
Content Requirements & Ethics
All submitted content must be lawful, respectful, and ethical. Submissions must not include any content that is:
Defamatory, violent, or hateful;
Discriminatory, obscene, or threatening;
In violation of any local, national, or international law.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal information will be collected only for the purpose of managing your participation and communicating with you during and after the event. We will retain your data only as long as necessary and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
