IIoT Project Management Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of smart factory system integration projects, encompassing pre-sales technical support, requirement gathering, procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
2. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality control, pre-sales, and customer service departments to ensure project requirements are met and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
3. Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, provide regular status reports, and identify and address potential delays and cost overruns.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables comply with IIoT industry standards and customer requirements, implement quality control measures, and conduct periodic inspections.
5. Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop and execute risk mitigation plans, and safeguard project objectives from adverse impacts.
6. Communication Management: Maintain effective communication with the project team, clients, and vendors to ensure clear understanding of project progress by all stakeholders.
7. Budget Control: Monitor project costs, including budgeting and expense accounting, handle change requests, and assess their impact on costs.
8. Document Management: Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, contracts, change requests, and project reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all records. Contribute to the organization's process asset repository by capturing project engineering learnings.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field. PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certifications are preferred.
Experience: Proficiency in network systems, wireless communications, video surveillance, public address systems, and perimeter alarms. At least 3 years of experience managing IIoT projects or similar industrial automation projects.
Skills: Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Jira, strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with IIoT technologies and their applications.
Communication: Proficient in various office software tools like Microsoft Office, CAD, and VISIO, with the ability to present project status and communicate effectively with team members and clients from diverse backgrounds.
Teamwork: Ability to handle stress, accommodate travel, and demonstrate strong team spirit.
Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Chinese and English for effective communication with international clients.
Overseas Travel: The position involves frequent overseas travel, primarily to Saudi Arabia and Southeast Asian countries.
Additional Requirements:
Deep understanding of IIoT industry trends and ability to anticipate technological developments.
Preference given to candidates with experience in cross-cultural communication and project management.
